Just come across the ACE blog. The post that attracted my attention is concerned with workflow on Iron Man.
With the arrival of DI and all electronic productions we are in a great state of flux with developing effective workflows for productions.
The almost daily introduction of new technologies threatens to require a new workflow for every production, with all the attendant risk of errors and associated stress of checking every possible parameter over and over (and over) again, knowing that in fact there are too many variables to be absolutly certain that all bases have been covered from the outset. Is it a bad thing? Perhaps not; it is much like the trial and error involved in the very early days of film making, albeit with a more rapid turnaround.
However, Iteration is the Mother of Perfection!
